Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Planned giving, sometimes referred to as gift giving, has become a very popular form of fund raising for many Synagogues in recent years. This form of giving enables donors (members) to make larger contributions than they would ordinarily make to the Synagogue. The most common type of planned giving vehicles are outright gifts that use appreciated assets, gifts that return income or other financial benefits to the donor in return for the contribution and gifts payable upon the donor’s death.

If you are interested in discussing this further feel free to contact Richard Goldstein, VP Finance who will gladly fill you in on the benefits to you and Congregation B’nai Jehsurun.
